NYS Education Department Performance Assessment Network Webinar

Wednesday, December 14 from 4-5 PM 

The NYS Ed Department Performance-based Learning & Assessment Network (PLAN) pilot will be holding their second Webinar entitled "PBLA in Practice." To learn more and contribute to the discussion about the expansion of performance assessment options across the state, we highly encourage you to pre-register and then either attend on Wednesday or view the video when posted. The PLAN pilot's first webinar, which prominently features the Consortium's work, is available for view here.

Consortium Annual Conference & 25th Anniversary Celebration

Our first in-person conference since January 2020 is reason enough to celebrate AND it's also the Consortium's 25th Birthday! This year's Keynote Speaker will be our long-time partner (and first Consortium Conference Speaker!) Distinguished Professor Dr. Michelle Fine of CUNY. Please save the date!

As always, the centerpiece of the conference is workshops planned by teachers for teachers and WE NEED YOU to propose workshops! Have a unit or course you'd like to share with others? a partnership that you've developed to support your students' work? a classroom or school practice that you'd like to discuss with others? students who'd like to share their work? Please volunteer to convene a workshop by completing the form on the Conference Website by Friday, January 6. Workshop Registration will begin on Tuesday, January 17th.
