Brooklyn International High School  Global History/ENL Educator Vacancy 

The Brooklyn International High School (BIHS) is currently accepting applications for a 9th and 10th grade Global History/ENL position. ABOUT OUR SCHOOL

At BIHS, we serve a population of recently-arrived, English language learners from more than 40 different countries and speak over 30 different languages. We are a NYC public school affiliated with Internationals Network for Public Schools. In our collaborative, project based learning environment, we help students develop language and content knowledge. Ideal candidates are committed to working with a diverse student population and are excited about helping students acquire and develop their English language skills through meaningful content and contexts. Additionally, candidates should value working in a highly collaborative environment with an interdisciplinary team of colleagues. As a 25-year member of the New York Performance Standards Consortium, we seek to provide students with hands-on, authentic, project-based learning opportunities. Our teachers aim to design engaging, culturally responsive curriculum that is relevant to our students' lives and builds on the knowledge and skills they will need to succeed in college and careers. 
Global History/ENL Vacancy:

The Brooklyn International High School is currently accepting applications for a Global History/ENL educator. This vacancy is for a position on our 9th/10th grade team which serves newly arrived immigrant students. Interested candidates should be comfortable supporting multilingual students of all ability levels to complete an inquiry based research paper aligned to the NY Performance Standards Consortium rubric.
